Everyone has a limit. A moment where the weight of manipulation and deceit becomes unbearable.
For Zara, that moment arrived not with a scream… but with a single, cold realization. She was losing control of her own existence.
It began one morning when she logged into LinkedIn.
Password changed. She hadn’t done it.
Frantic, she tried resetting it. Locked out.
Then she saw it, a new post under her name. Poorly written. Unprofessional. Her phone buzzed with a message from LinkedIn Support: Account Ownership Verification.
“Hi Zara, we received a request claiming another party is the rightful owner of this account. Please verify your identity.”
She clicked the attachment. A scanned passport. Her name, but the photo was Nia’s.
Zara felt the floor tilt beneath her.
This wasn’t just sabotage. This was erasure.
Her pulse pounded as she scrolled through her phone, searching for anything — any evidence, any help. She had spent years building her brand, her credibility, her name. And in a matter of moments, someone else had hijacked it.
This was beyond stealing opportunities. This was an attack on her very existence.
