📖Bible Passage:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” ~ Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
🤔Reflection Question:
If someone looked only at what you consistently consume, your conversations, media, thoughts, habits, and influences, what would they conclude you are trying to grow in your life?
📝Reflection Notes:
Every day we are feeding something within us. We feed our fears or our faith. We feed bitterness or forgiveness. We feed comparison or contentment. We feed wisdom or distraction. The harvest we eventually see is rarely the result of one dramatic decision; it is usually the outcome of countless small choices made over time.
Growth isn’t only about adding good things, it is also about recognizing what no longer deserves a seat at your table. Healthy gardens require both planting and pruning. Likewise, healthy lives require intentional nourishment and the courage to remove what quietly steals our peace, purpose, and joy.
Today’s invitation is simple: become aware of what you are consistently feeding. The future often begins with today’s quiet habits.
🙏🏾Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give me the wisdom to recognize what is strengthening my spirit and what is weakening it. Help me to choose thoughts, words, relationships, and habits that lead me closer to You and to the person You created me to become. Teach me to guard my heart with wisdom and to cultivate a life that bears good fruit. Amen.
