📖Bible Passage
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
🤔Reflection
Dear Devotional Family,
I want to be honest with you today. I haven’t forgotten about this group. I haven’t stopped praying. I haven’t stopped spending time with God. But I have been struggling to find the words to share here.
There is so much noise and negativity in the world right now. Sometimes when I sit down to write, my mind freezes. I ask myself, what should I say? What message would truly help someone today?
And today I realized something simple. Maybe the message is not about having the perfect words. Maybe the message is about being still.
Psalm 46 reminds us to be still and remember who God is. Not who the world says He is. Not what the news says. Not what fear says. But who God has always been.
Faithful. Present. Unchanging.
Even when the world feels overwhelming, God has not moved. His peace is still available to us. His presence is still near.
So today I’m choosing stillness. I’m choosing to step away from the noise and return to the quiet place where God speaks to the heart.
Maybe someone reading this needs that same reminder today.
You don’t have to carry the weight of everything happening around you. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause, breathe, and remember that God is still in control.
🙏🏾Prayer
Lord,
When the world feels heavy and words are hard to find, help us return to You. Quiet our minds and calm our hearts. Remind us that Your presence is greater than any noise around us.
Teach us to be still and trust You again. Protect our hearts from negativity and fill us with peace that only You can give.
Let this moment of stillness bring rest to someone who needs it today.
Amen.
📝Note
If today feels overwhelming for you, take a moment to pause. Breathe. Say a short prayer. God hears even the quiet prayers we whisper in our hearts. #DailyDevotion #FaithReflection #BeStill #TrustGod #PrayerLife #GodsPeace
