There’s Always a Reason to Be Thankful

,

📖 Bible Passage:
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)

🙏🏾 Prayer:
Lord, help me pause and recognize the gifts already surrounding me. Teach my heart to be grateful not just when life is good, but even when it’s uncertain. Open my eyes to the quiet miracles, breath in my lungs, food on my table, people who care. May I never overlook the grace found in ordinary moments. Amen.

📝 Reflection:
There is always a reason to be thankful for. Even on the days that feel dry and silent, grace still whispers. Sometimes, we’re so fixated on what we want that we overlook what we already have. The roof over our head, the strength to get through the day, the chance to try again, all of it is a blessing.
It’s okay to desire more. Growth is good. But don’t let the pursuit rob you of peace in the now. Joy lives in the present. Gratitude grounds us there. Look again, you may already be standing in an answered prayer.
There’s someone out there who didn’t wake up today. Someone who’s praying for what you have. You, right now, are a reason to be thankful.

📓 Notes:
➤ Today, take a moment. Breathe. Acknowledge the good.
➤ Gratitude shifts the heart. It silences the noise and helps you see again.
➤ Write down 3 things you’re thankful for. Keep it simple. Keep it honest.
