📖 Bible Passage:
“Then the LORD said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ He said, ‘A staff.’”
—Exodus 4:2 (ESV)
🙏🏾Prayer:
Lord, help me to see the value in what I already have. Quiet the noise of comparison and the weight of what I think I’m missing. Teach me to trust You with my portion and give You authority over my thoughts, emotions, and circumstances. Help me to focus on You, not the voices around me or the doubts within. You are more than enough. Be magnified in my life. Amen.
🪞 Reflection:
Sometimes we fix our eyes on what we lack, what others have, or what’s not happening. But if you pause and truly look at what’s in your life—your gifts, your growth, your story—you’ll realize you have more than enough for God to work with.
Like Moses and his staff, what’s already in your hand can move mountains when surrendered to God.
And when you worry about enemies, pause. Sometimes the enemy isn’t outside of you—it’s the thoughts within, the fear, the doubt, the comparisons. Often, the enemy only uses what we give it—our words, our focus, our energy. So take that back. Reclaim your thoughts. Magnify God, not the problem. Let Him take center stage.
📝 Notes:
- Comparison clouds clarity.
- Surrender what you have—God will multiply it.
- Be mindful of what you give power to through your focus or speech.
- God is not pushy—He works where He’s invited.
