Psalm 34:2–5 (NLT)
“I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt His name together. I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.”

Reflection🤔

Comparison is subtle. It doesn’t always come as jealousy, it often comes as quiet questioning. Why them? Why not me? Why now? But Scripture reminds us that our joy is not found in measuring our lives against others. Our joy is found in looking to the Lord. When we fix our eyes on Him instead of people, fear loses its grip, and shame has no place to stand. God never called us to compete, He called us to trust.

Prayer🙏🏾

Heavenly Father,
Today I choose to lift my eyes above comparison and fix them on You. Free my heart from every quiet comparison that steals my peace. Replace it with gratitude, trust, and confidence in Your timing. Let my joy be rooted in You alone. Teach me to rejoice where I am, knowing You are faithful to complete what You started. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
